The officers undertook a comprehensive <strong>study and observation tour<\/strong> of the university to understand its modern academic, research, and administrative frameworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In honor of the delegation, a formal ceremony was held in the <strong>Senate Hall of the Vice Chancellor\u2019s Secretariat<\/strong>, chaired by <strong>Dr. Inayatullah Rajpar<\/strong>, Senior Dean of the Faculty of Crop Production. The event began with a welcoming address by <strong>Registrar Ghulam Mohiuddin Qureshi<\/strong>, followed by an in-depth presentation on the university\u2019s <strong>academic and research activities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the briefing, <strong>Dr. Abdul Mubeen Lodhi<\/strong> and <strong>Dr. Saleem Masih Bhatti<\/strong> highlighted that SAU is equipped with <strong>modern teaching systems, smart multimedia classrooms, advanced laboratories, and cutting-edge research centers<\/strong>, supported by a strong <strong>academic and infrastructural foundation<\/strong>. They emphasized that the university provides comprehensive <strong>residential, transport, research, and fieldwork facilities<\/strong> to ensure a productive learning environment for students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The STI Directors, <strong>Ms. Saadia Bashir<\/strong> and <strong>Mr. Israr Ahmed<\/strong>, expressed admiration for the university\u2019s contribution to the national agricultural sector. They remarked that SAU stands among the <strong>top agricultural universities in Pakistan<\/strong>, with its <strong>academic excellence, professional faculty, and globally competitive teaching standards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They further stated that the <strong>ongoing research and practical projects<\/strong> at SAU are paving the way for a <strong>new era of agricultural innovation and sustainability<\/strong> in Pakistan. The STI officials particularly appreciated the <strong>university\u2019s climate-adaptive research<\/strong>, which they said was aligned with the <strong>country\u2019s long-term agricultural modernization goals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was also attended by several senior faculty members and administrators, including <strong>Dr. Syed Ghiyasuddin Shah Rashdi<\/strong>, <strong>Dr. Zaheer Ahmed Nizamani<\/strong>, <strong>Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Soomro<\/strong>, <strong>Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Khaskheli<\/strong>, <strong>Dr. Saba Ambreen Memon<\/strong>, <strong>Dr. Imran Khatrri<\/strong>, <strong>Director of Campus Affairs Muhammad Ashraf Rustamani<\/strong>, <strong>Anwar Hussain Khanzada<\/strong>, <strong>Director of Farms Muhammad Mithal Lund<\/strong>, and <strong>Public Relations Officer Gul Sher Lochi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assistant Commissioner of Hyderabad Rural, Gohar Masroor<\/strong>, also attended as a special guest, highlighting the collaboration between academia and the district administration in advancing agricultural innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the ceremony, the visiting officers conducted a <strong>detailed field tour<\/strong> of various departments and research facilities, including the <strong>Faculty of Crop Production<\/strong>, <strong>Smart Greenhouse<\/strong>, <strong>Horticulture Garden<\/strong>, <strong>Latif Farm<\/strong>, and the <strong>Seed Production and Development Center<\/strong>.
