{"id":7721,"date":"2026-07-26T13:02:52","date_gmt":"2026-07-26T13:02:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=7721"},"modified":"2026-07-26T13:02:53","modified_gmt":"2026-07-26T13:02:53","slug":"badin-gazetted-officers-association-honours-retiring-and-promoted-officers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=7721","title":{"rendered":"Badin Gazetted Officers Association Honours Retiring and Promoted Officers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Badin (Bureau Report):<\/strong> The All Gazetted Officers Association (AGOA), District Badin, organised a grand and dignified ceremony to honour retiring officers and those recently promoted to higher grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was presided over by <strong>District President Dr Murtaza Ali Laghari<\/strong>, while <strong>Central President Abdul Rasheed Chandio<\/strong> attended as the chief guest. Other distinguished guests included <strong>Central General Secretary Ali Muhammad Garmani<\/strong>, <strong>Raza Muhammad<\/strong>, <strong>Central Press Secretary Nawab Zain-ul-Abideen Laghari<\/strong>, <strong>STEDA Sindh Director Raja Nisar Ahmed<\/strong>, the <strong>President of Hyderabad Division<\/strong>, <strong>District Education Officer (Secondary) Anwar Parabi<\/strong>, and <strong>District Education Officer (Primary) Altaf Hussain Memon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a rendition of <em>Naat<\/em>, the national anthem, and a welcome tableau presented by students of <strong>Government Elementary School Alah Dino Soomro<\/strong>. Dr Murtaza Ali Laghari delivered the welcome address, greeting the guests and participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Office-bearers of the district association, including <strong>General Secretary Abdul Fatah Junejo<\/strong>, <strong>Vice President Ghulam Nabi Talpur<\/strong>, <strong>Finance Secretary Muhammad Younis Rahimoon<\/strong>, and <strong>Apa Shafiat-un-Nisa<\/strong>, presented traditional Sindhi <em>ajraks<\/em> and turbans as souvenirs to the guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the ceremony, <strong>25 retiring officers<\/strong> were presented with <strong>Lifetime Achievement Awards<\/strong> and commemorative gifts in recognition of their dedicated public service. In addition, <strong>19 officers promoted to Grade 18<\/strong> and <strong>26 officers promoted to Grade 17<\/strong> received honorary shields and gifts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Addressing the gathering, the guests praised the performance of the Badin chapter of the All Gazetted Officers Association, describing the current district leadership as active, well-organised and committed to serving its members. They also appreciated the successful organisation of the event and expressed hope that similar ceremonies would continue in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking on the occasion, <strong>Central President Abdul Rasheed Chandio<\/strong> said that since many members belonged to the headmaster cadre, they should work collectively to improve the performance of educational institutions and enhance the quality of education.
