In the women’s 100-metre freestyle event, Jehanara Nabi failed to progress to the next round after finishing with a time of 1:00.36<\/strong>. She placed 36th out of 64 competitors<\/strong>, while only the top 16 swimmers qualified for the semi-finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile, in the men’s 50-metre breaststroke, Hamza Asif<\/strong> improved his own national record by clocking 29.63 seconds<\/strong>, surpassing his previous best of 29.99 seconds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Despite the record-breaking performance, Hamza was unable to secure a place in the semi-finals, finishing 27th out of 50 swimmers<\/strong> in the heats.
