{"id":7680,"date":"2026-07-26T11:44:56","date_gmt":"2026-07-26T11:44:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=7680"},"modified":"2026-07-26T11:44:57","modified_gmt":"2026-07-26T11:44:57","slug":"charity-bread-centre-serving-free-meals-for-25-years-appeals-for-public-support-amid-financial-crisis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=7680","title":{"rendered":"Charity Bread Centre Serving Free Meals for 25 Years Appeals for Public Support Amid Financial Crisis"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Karachi:<\/strong> A charitable <strong>Khana Ghar (Food Centre)<\/strong> that has been providing <strong>free bread to poor and underprivileged people<\/strong> for the past <strong>25 years<\/strong> is facing severe financial difficulties and has appealed to philanthropists and the public for urgent assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to <strong>Baji Parveen<\/strong>, who manages the welfare initiative, rising inflation\u2014particularly the continuous increase in <strong>gas prices<\/strong>\u2014has significantly raised the centre&#8217;s operating costs, making it increasingly difficult to continue its services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She said the facility is equipped with <strong>modern bread-making machines<\/strong>, including one capable of producing <strong>around 1,500 loaves of bread per hour<\/strong>, which are distributed free of charge to people in need every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Baji Parveen explained that the centre&#8217;s <strong>monthly gas bills have now reached hundreds of thousands of rupees<\/strong>, placing an enormous financial burden on the organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;If timely financial support is not received, there is a real risk that thousands of deserving people will lose access to this essential service,&#8221;
