After an intense contest, the <strong>Faculty of Crop Production<\/strong> and the <strong>Institute of Food Science and Technology<\/strong> secured <strong>equal scores<\/strong>, jointly claiming first place, while the <strong>Faculty of Crop Protection<\/strong> finished as the <strong>runner-up<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event, held at the <strong>Dr. A.M. Shaikh Auditorium Hall<\/strong>, was organized jointly by the <strong>Entomological Society of Sindh<\/strong> and the <strong>Students\u2013Teachers Engagement Program (STEP)<\/strong>. The quiz featured a wide range of topics, including <strong>science, agriculture, and general knowledge<\/strong>, testing the <strong>intellectual agility and academic competence<\/strong> of the students. Seven teams representing five faculties participated, with both male and female students displaying remarkable confidence, quick thinking, and teamwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition created a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for <strong>academic and extracurricular excellence<\/strong> within the university. The tight contest between the top two teams kept the audience engaged till the very end, culminating in a shared victory that was met with loud applause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing the <strong>closing ceremony<\/strong>, <strong>Vice-Chancellor Professor (Engr.) Dr. Altaf Ali Sial<\/strong> congratulated the participants and said that such <strong>healthy and competitive activities<\/strong> play a vital role in <strong>building students\u2019 confidence<\/strong> and preparing them for <strong>higher academic and professional challenges<\/strong>. He emphasized that these intellectual events not only <strong>foster critical thinking and teamwork<\/strong>, but also <strong>encourage research-oriented mindsets<\/strong> among students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added, \u201cStudents of Sindh Agriculture University are making their mark at the national level, which is a matter of great pride for the entire institution. Encouraging a culture of learning, competition, and innovation will continue to be our top priority.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his remarks, <strong>Dr. Ijaz Ali Khonharo<\/strong>, Dean of the <strong>Faculty of Crop Production<\/strong> and Head of <strong>STEP<\/strong>, stated that the objective of holding such academic and extracurricular activities is to <strong>enhance students\u2019 leadership qualities<\/strong> and strengthen <strong>teacher-student collaboration<\/strong>.
