The procession began from the <strong>Deputy Commissioner\u2019s Office Umerkot<\/strong> and concluded at the <strong>Press Club Umerkot<\/strong>, where participants gathered for speeches and prayers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A number of prominent figures attended the rally, including <strong>Professor Abdul Rauf Soomro<\/strong>, Principal of Degree College Umerkot; <strong>Dileep Kumar<\/strong>, Principal of Government Higher Secondary School No. 1; and educators such as <strong>Gautam Sangrasi<\/strong> and <strong>Agha Shahbaz<\/strong>. Representatives of various educational institutions, students, social organizations, members of the <strong>Press Club Management Committee<\/strong> led by Chairman <strong>Rasool Bux Rahimdani<\/strong>, community leaders like <strong>Mir Hassan Arisar<\/strong> and <strong>Maulana Abdul Qadir Jamali<\/strong>, and many other stakeholders participated enthusiastically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants carried <strong>banners and placards<\/strong> inscribed with slogans in support of the Kashmiri people and condemning Indian atrocities. The crowd chanted pro-Kashmir slogans such as <em>\u201cKashmir will be free\u201d<\/em> and <em>\u201cStop human rights violations in Kashmir.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing the rally, <strong>Assistant Commissioner Rajab Ali Suthio<\/strong> and other speakers declared October 27 as the <strong>\u201cdarkest day in the history of South Asia,\u201d<\/strong> recalling the illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by Indian forces on that date in 1947.
