{"id":7327,"date":"2025-10-22T10:05:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-22T10:05:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=7327"},"modified":"2025-10-22T10:07:36","modified_gmt":"2025-10-22T10:07:36","slug":"historic-milestone-for-sanghar-first-sicvd-chest-pain-unit-inaugurated-to-serve-cardiac-patients","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=7327","title":{"rendered":"Historic Milestone for Sanghar: First SICVD Chest Pain Unit Inaugurated to Serve Cardiac Patients"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Sanghar Correspondent<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a landmark development for healthcare in rural Sindh, the <strong>Sindh Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (SICVD)<\/strong> inaugurated its <strong>first-ever Chest Pain Unit (CPU)<\/strong> in <strong>Sanghar<\/strong>, marking a major step toward accessible and modern cardiac care for thousands of residents in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inauguration ceremony was held at <strong>Civil Hospital Sanghar<\/strong> and was made possible through the persistent efforts of <strong>Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and Member of the National Assembly, Ms. Shazia Atta Marri<\/strong>, whose advocacy for improved health facilities in interior Sindh has played a crucial role in realizing this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A New Era of Cardiac Care in Sanghar<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The new Chest Pain Unit \u2014 the <strong>30th of its kind in Sindh<\/strong> \u2014 was formally inaugurated by <strong>Dr. Musa Memon<\/strong>, Chief Operating Officer of SICVD, along with <strong>Executive Director Dr. Javed Sial<\/strong>, <strong>Administrator Khalil Ahmed<\/strong>, <strong>Chest Pain Unit Manager Idrees Muhammad Shah<\/strong>, <strong>Muhammad Nasir<\/strong>, and <strong>Civil Hospital\u2019s Medical Superintendent Dr. Aftab Sariwal<\/strong>. The officials jointly cut the ceremonial ribbon, offered prayers, and opened the facility to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking to the media, <strong>Dr. Musa Memon<\/strong> emphasized the significance of this initiative, stating:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThis is the 30th Chest Pain Unit established under the SICVD network. It will provide modern cardiac emergency care to patients suffering from heart diseases.
