HYDERABAD:<\/strong> Hyderabad Police have arrested six suspects<\/strong> during separate operations targeting criminal elements, illegal weapons, narcotics, and gutka suppliers across the district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operations were carried out on the directives of DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razaq Khan Dharijo<\/strong> and SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar<\/strong> as part of an ongoing campaign against crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two Wanted Suspects Arrested with Weapon<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A team from Naseem Nagar Check Post<\/strong>, led by Inspector Benazir Jamali<\/strong>, conducted an intelligence-based operation near Sehrish Nagar Phatak Grid Station Road<\/strong>, where two suspects were arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the police, the suspects were wanted in Crime No. 366\/2026<\/strong> under Sections 353, 324, and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police said one of the arrested suspects, Riaz Hussain Sahag<\/strong>, was found in possession of a 9mm pistol and ammunition<\/strong>. A separate case, Crime No. 369\/2026<\/strong>, has been registered against him under Section 23(A) of the Sindh Arms Act<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gutka Suppliers Held<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In another operation, Market Police Station<\/strong>, under the supervision of SHO Inspector Niaz Muhammad Khoso<\/strong>, arrested two suspects identified as Zafar Samo<\/strong> and Shehzad Shoro<\/strong> during routine patrolling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police claimed to have recovered 200 gutka sachets<\/strong> from their possession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A case, Crime No. 250\/2026<\/strong>, has been registered against the suspects under Section 8 of the Gutka and Mainpuri Act<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Liquor Recovered in Separate Raids<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Separately, City Police Station<\/strong>, led by SHO Inspector Tahir Mughal<\/strong>, arrested a suspect identified as Mehroz Ali Yousafzai<\/strong> during patrol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police stated that two bottles of liquor<\/strong> were recovered from his possession. A case, Crime No. 125\/2026<\/strong>, has been registered under Sections 3 and 4 of the Prohibition (Hudood) Order<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, A-Section Police Station<\/strong>, under SHO Inspector Munir Ahmed Abbasi<\/strong>, conducted an intelligence-led operation during patrolling and arrested a suspect identified as Fawad Ghani Siddiqui<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to police, officers recovered two bottles of liquor and seven beer cans<\/strong> from the suspect’s possession. A case, Crime No. 332\/2026<\/strong>, has also been registered under Sections 3 and 4 of the Prohibition (Hudood) Order<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further Operations Continue<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Hyderabad Police said the campaign against criminals, drug traffickers, illegal arms holders, and suppliers of banned substances will continue across the district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police statement added that further investigations are underway, while additional operations are being carried out to apprehend other suspects allegedly involved in criminal activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
