{"id":7146,"date":"2026-07-23T10:38:27","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T10:38:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=7146"},"modified":"2026-07-23T10:38:28","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T10:38:28","slug":"karachi-police-arrest-21-people-in-crackdown-on-illegal-residences-and-alleged-prostitution-activities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=7146","title":{"rendered":"Karachi Police Arrest 21 People in Crackdown on Illegal Residences and Alleged Prostitution Activities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>KARACHI:<\/strong> District South Police carried out a special operation in the <strong>Darakhshan Police Station<\/strong> jurisdiction, targeting alleged brothels and individuals accused of violating residency regulations in the <strong>Badar Commercial<\/strong> and <strong>Muslim Commercial<\/strong> areas of DHA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to a statement issued by the <strong>District South Police spokesperson<\/strong>, the operation focused on premises allegedly being used for prostitution as well as people residing without complying with the <strong>Sindh Temporary Residence Act, 2015 (SITRA Act).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the first operation, police raided flats in <strong>Badar Commercial, Phase V, DHA<\/strong>, and <strong>Muslim Commercial, Phase VI<\/strong>, where <strong>11 transgender persons<\/strong> were arrested on allegations of illegal residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police registered <strong>FIR Nos. 500\/2026 and 501\/2026<\/strong> under <strong>Section 11\/3 of the Sindh Temporary Residence Act, 2015<\/strong>.
