{"id":7013,"date":"2026-07-22T14:14:16","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T14:14:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=7013"},"modified":"2026-07-22T14:14:16","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T14:14:16","slug":"man-killed-four-year-old-son-injured-after-pickup-truck-mounts-footpath-in-karachi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=7013","title":{"rendered":"Man Killed, Four-Year-Old Son Injured After Pickup Truck Mounts Footpath in Karachi"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>KARACHI:<\/strong> A man was killed and his four-year-old son injured after a double-cabin pickup truck reportedly mounted a footpath and struck people sleeping there in Karachi&#8217;s Defence Housing Authority (DHA), police said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The incident occurred in <strong>Bukhari Commercial, Phase VI<\/strong>, where the driver allegedly drove the vehicle onto the footpath before fleeing the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to police, the man died on the spot, while his young son sustained injuries and was shifted for medical treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Authorities have launched an investigation and are searching for the driver, who escaped with the vehicle after the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The injured child&#8217;s family said they are residents of <strong>Korangi&#8217;s Nasir Jump<\/strong> area.
