{"id":6989,"date":"2026-07-22T13:29:17","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T13:29:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=6989"},"modified":"2026-07-22T13:29:17","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T13:29:17","slug":"pakistans-armed-forces-defended-borders-through-autonomous-systems-and-cybersecurity-during-battle-for-truth-says-pm-shehbaz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=6989","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan\u2019s Armed Forces Defended Borders Through Autonomous Systems and Cybersecurity During \u2018Battle for Truth,\u2019 Says PM Shehbaz"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ISLAMABAD:<\/strong> Prime Minister <strong>Shehbaz Sharif<\/strong> said Pakistan\u2019s armed forces successfully defended the country\u2019s borders during the <em>\u201cBattle for Truth\u201d<\/em> by employing <strong>autonomous systems<\/strong>, <strong>cybersecurity capabilities<\/strong>, and other advanced technologies, reaffirming the government&#8217;s commitment to strengthening national defence through innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Addressing the <strong>Indus Robotics and Autonomous Systems Expo<\/strong> in Islamabad, the prime minister said the exhibition reflected Pakistan\u2019s growing technological capabilities and would help position the country among the leading nations embracing 21st-century technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He described the use of advanced technology in the defence sector as a source of national pride, stating that Pakistan had achieved significant progress in developing indigenous technological capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cPakistan has made remarkable advancements in modern technology,\u201d Shehbaz Sharif said. \u201cMore than <strong>60 percent of the country&#8217;s drone production is now being carried out locally<\/strong>, marking a major step toward self-reliance in defence manufacturing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prime minister credited the armed forces for effectively integrating advanced technologies during the <em>\u201cBattle for Truth,\u201d<\/em> saying that autonomous systems and cyber defence capabilities played a key role in safeguarding Pakistan\u2019s borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also praised <strong>Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir<\/strong>, saying the military leadership had successfully adopted modern technologies to strengthen the country&#8217;s defence capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the prime minister, the cooperation between the <strong>Chief of Army Staff<\/strong>, the <strong>Chief of Air Staff<\/strong>, and the <strong>Chief of Naval Staff<\/strong> contributed significantly to the successful implementation of modern defence strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shehbaz Sharif reiterated that Pakistan would continue investing in cutting-edge technologies, including robotics, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, to enhance national security and maintain its sovereignty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cPakistan will continue to utilize modern technology to defend its sovereignty and protect its national interests,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prime minister added that innovation in robotics and autonomous systems would not only strengthen the country&#8217;s defence sector but also contribute to industrial growth, scientific research, and economic development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Indus Robotics and Autonomous Systems Expo<\/strong> brought together government officials, defence experts, technology companies, researchers, and industry representatives to showcase Pakistan\u2019s latest advancements in robotics, unmanned systems, and emerging defence technologies.
