The matter may still proceed through the normal judicial process, subject to the court&#8217;s schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The protests reportedly involved allegations of excessive use of force by police against demonstrators, prompting legal and political debate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the report, the <strong>Cockroach Janata Party<\/strong> emerged earlier this year as an online youth movement following controversy surrounding remarks attributed to Chief Justice Surya Kant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reports state that during a court hearing in <strong>May<\/strong>, the Chief Justice allegedly referred to some unemployed young people as &#8220;cockroaches&#8221; and a &#8220;burden on society,&#8221; triggering widespread criticism and leading to strong reactions from youth groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reported comments became a rallying point for the movement, which has since expanded its focus to include issues such as unemployment, education, and accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Supreme Court has not issued a detailed order explaining its refusal to hear the petition on an urgent basis.
