KARACHI:<\/strong> Karachi Police have arrested all suspects allegedly involved in the kidnapping of a two-year-old boy from the Manghopir Road area, with investigators identifying a close friend of the child\u2019s father as the alleged mastermind behind the crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to SSP West Tariq Mastoi<\/strong>, law enforcement authorities have successfully apprehended the principal suspect along with all of his alleged accomplices following an intensive investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking about the case, the senior police officer said the main suspect was a close friend of the victim\u2019s father and was directly involved in planning and carrying out the abduction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe main accused, who was a friend of the child\u2019s father, played a direct role in the kidnapping,\u201d SSP Tariq Mastoi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police revealed that after abducting the two-year-old boy, identified as Azaan Ali<\/strong>, the suspects allegedly demanded a ransom of Rs5 million<\/strong> from the family in exchange for the child’s safe release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators said the kidnapping was allegedly motivated by financial gain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the SSP, the prime suspect planned the crime out of greed and enlisted the help of his brother-in-law<\/strong> and another associate to execute the kidnapping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe suspect, driven by greed, planned and carried out the offence with the assistance of his brother-in-law and a friend,\u201d the police official stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities have not yet disclosed additional operational details regarding the arrests or the recovery of the child, saying that the investigation is continuing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police are also examining the roles of each suspect and collecting further evidence to strengthen the prosecution’s case before the matter proceeds to court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kidnapping occurred on July 18<\/strong>, when two-year-old Azaan Ali was abducted from a private housing society on Manghopir Road<\/strong> in Karachi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incident attracted widespread public attention after CCTV footage<\/strong> showing the abduction surfaced on social media and television channels. The footage prompted immediate concern among citizens and intensified pressure on law enforcement agencies to trace the child and arrest those responsible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the incident, Karachi Police launched a comprehensive investigation involving surveillance analysis, witness interviews, and intelligence-based operations to identify and locate the suspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
