Administration Reviews Measures to Promote Youth Development and Social Stability"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SANGHAR:<\/strong> Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Sanghar <strong>Abdul Majeed Zehrani<\/strong> has said that young people are the architects of the nation&#8217;s future, and it is the collective responsibility of society to provide them with quality education, sports opportunities, and a supportive environment to strengthen them mentally and physically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He expressed these views while chairing a meeting at the Deputy Commissioner&#8217;s Office to review the implementation of the Sindh government&#8217;s directives regarding the activation of the <strong>District Coordination Committee (DCC) on Social and Political Affairs<\/strong>, established under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The committee has been activated in line with instructions issued by the <strong>Services, General Administration and Coordination Department (SGA&amp;CD), Government of Sindh<\/strong>, to encourage youth participation in positive and constructive activities across the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, officials discussed measures to provide comprehensive guidance to young people, promote sports activities, fully operationalize public libraries, organize seminars on mental and physical health, and ensure that youth have access to the support and opportunities needed for their personal development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Representatives of the <strong>Municipal Corporation, Sports Department, Information Department<\/strong>, and other relevant government departments were directed to work together to address youth-related issues, improve access to quality education, expand sports facilities, and resolve social challenges so that young people are protected from negative influences and are able to contribute effectively to the country&#8217;s progress and prosperity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officials said the initiative aims to strengthen coordination among district administration and government departments, improve social and political stability, and promote greater public participation throughout Sindh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Majeed Zehrani emphasized the need for all departments to ensure effective implementation of the <strong>National Policy for Preventing Violent Extremism (NPVE) 2024<\/strong>, with the objective of preventing violent incidents and promoting social harmony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also urged journalists working in the district to adopt a positive approach, cooperate closely with the Information Department, and play their role in countering what he described as false propaganda against the country&#8217;s institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was attended by district officials from relevant government departments as well as representatives of security and intelligence
