and other infrastructure, according to local authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officials said the sudden flooding was caused by intense rainfall that led to overflowing streams and torrents, disrupting transportation and affecting communities in the mountainous regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Six Houses and 25 Shops Swept Away in Neelum Valley<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the <strong>Deputy Commissioner<\/strong>, a cloudburst over the <strong>Kattha Piran stream<\/strong> in Neelum Valley caused a powerful flash flood that swept through the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The flooding destroyed or washed away:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Six residential houses<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Twenty-five shops<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Three vehicles<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Eleven motorcycles<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Authorities said roads and a bridge in the Kattha Piran area were also washed away, leaving residents facing serious
