ISLAMABAD: Ambas\u00adsa\u00addor Tahir Hussain And\u00adra\u00ad\u00adbi is poised to succeed Amb\u00adas\u00adsador Shafqat Ali Khan as the Foreign Office (FO) spo\u00adkes\u00adperson, according to a sou\u00ad\u00adrce familiar with the matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr Khan, the current spokesperson, will replace Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi as ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) later this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ambassador Tirmizi, in turn, will move to Moscow, succeeding Ambassador Khalid Jamali, who will return to Islamabad as additional secretary for Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr Andrabi, a seasoned diplomat, has served over two decades in foreign service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
