{"id":6402,"date":"2026-07-18T13:57:47","date_gmt":"2026-07-18T13:57:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=6402"},"modified":"2026-07-18T13:57:48","modified_gmt":"2026-07-18T13:57:48","slug":"court-declares-pti-leader-omar-ayub-a-proclaimed-offender-in-november-26-protest-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=6402","title":{"rendered":"Court Declares PTI Leader Omar Ayub a Proclaimed Offender in November 26 Protest Case"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ISLAMABAD:<\/strong> A district court in Islamabad has declared <strong>Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)<\/strong> leader <strong>Omar Ayub Khan<\/strong> a <strong>proclaimed offender<\/strong> in connection with a case related to the <strong>November 26 protest<\/strong> and has issued his <strong>permanent arrest warrants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The order was issued by <strong>Judicial Magistrate Shaista Kundi<\/strong> during proceedings at the District and Sessions Courts in Islamabad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the court&#8217;s ruling, Omar Ayub was declared a proclaimed offender after <strong>repeatedly failing to appear before the court despite being summoned<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The court subsequently issued <strong>permanent (non-bailable) arrest warrants<\/strong> against the PTI leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The case relates to the <strong>November 26 protest<\/strong>, in which Omar Ayub has been charged with <strong>violating Section 144<\/strong> and other relevant provisions of the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The court&#8217;s decision follows earlier proceedings in the same case, in which arrest warrants were also issued for other individuals, including PTI founder Imran Khan&#8217;s sister <strong>Aleema Khan<\/strong>, over alleged non-appearance before the court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of the time of reporting, <strong>Omar Ayub or PTI had not issued an immediate public response<\/strong> to the court&#8217;s latest order.
