{"id":6237,"date":"2026-07-18T05:55:27","date_gmt":"2026-07-18T05:55:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=6237"},"modified":"2026-07-18T05:55:32","modified_gmt":"2026-07-18T05:55:32","slug":"balochistan-government-families-of-ziarat-martyrs-reach-written-agreement-sit-ins-end","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=6237","title":{"rendered":"Balochistan Government, Families of Ziarat Martyrs Reach Written Agreement, Sit-ins End"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QUETTA:<\/strong> Reconciliation efforts led by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti have succeeded as the provincial government, the families of the Ziarat martyrs, and the protest committee reached a written agreement following successful negotiations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Protest committee member Nasrullah Zerey said both sides had reached a consensus on the draft agreement and formally signed the document.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the agreement, a <strong>judicial commission<\/strong> will be established to investigate the Ziarat incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement also states that a <strong>joint law and order meeting<\/strong>, chaired by the Chief Minister, will be convened with the participation of opposition members and the families of the martyrs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the accord, the victims of the Ziarat incident will be officially recognized as <strong>martyrs<\/strong> under the government&#8217;s policy. Their families will receive financial compensation, long-term support, and educational assistance for their children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement further provides that government buildings will be named in honor of the martyrs.
