BADIN:<\/strong> A local resident has appealed to the authorities for justice, alleging that despite paying the full amount for a residential plot, he has been denied possession for the past three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at a press conference at the National Press Club Badin, Maulvi Ghulam Rasool Sikandari<\/strong> claimed that three years ago, Dawan Shah<\/strong>, son of Malook Shah, brought him to the residence of his mother, Syed Niaz Shah<\/strong>, and informed him that his elder brother, Mir Shah<\/strong>, had allegedly killed his wife, leaving the family in urgent financial need and forcing them to sell a 1,000-square-foot property<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Sikandari, he purchased the property for Rs1 million<\/strong> through Syed Niaz Shah. He said the transaction was witnessed by Niaz Shah, son of Hanif Shah<\/strong>. However, despite receiving the payment, the sellers allegedly requested a few days’ time to vacate the property, saying they needed to arrange another place to live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He alleged that after receiving the payment, the sellers repeatedly delayed handing over possession and continued making excuses. Despite the passage of three years, he claimed, the property has still not been vacated or transferred to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sikandari further stated that on May 15, 2026<\/strong>, Syed Ejaz Shah<\/strong> and Syed Yasar Shah<\/strong> approached him, informing him that their brother Mir Shah<\/strong> had been sentenced to death by a court in Badin. According to his account, they requested an additional Rs300,000<\/strong>, saying that although they had already received payment for the property, they needed more money and would hand over possession once the amount was paid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He claimed that he paid the additional Rs300,000<\/strong> in the presence of witnesses. However, he alleged that even after receiving the extra payment, the sellers neither vacated the property nor handed over possession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the press conference, Sikandari urged the relevant authorities to take immediate notice of the matter, conduct a fair investigation, and ensure that he is granted lawful possession of the property he claims to have legally purchased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
