{"id":5970,"date":"2026-07-15T09:42:42","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T09:42:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=5970"},"modified":"2026-07-15T09:42:43","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T09:42:43","slug":"iranian-president-vows-to-defend-every-inch-of-the-country-in-response-to-trumps-threats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=5970","title":{"rendered":"Iranian President Vows to Defend Every Inch of the Country in Response to Trump\u2019s Threats"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TEHRAN:<\/strong> Iranian President <strong>Masoud Pezeshkian<\/strong> has responded to recent remarks by U.S. President <strong>Donald Trump<\/strong>, declaring that Iran will defend \u201cevery inch\u201d of its territory against any threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a televised address, Pezeshkian criticized Trump&#8217;s statements and questioned whether the United States had achieved its objectives through military action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLet Trump explain whether he has achieved his goals on the battlefield,\u201d the Iranian president said. \u201cThose who sought to divide Iran should also explain what they have ultimately accomplished.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He stressed that Iran remains committed to safeguarding its sovereignty and territorial integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe will defend every inch of our homeland through our actions,\u201d Pezeshkian said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Separately, <strong>Ebrahim Rezaei<\/strong>, spokesperson for the <strong>Iranian Parliament\u2019s National Security Commission<\/strong>, said that, in his view, the opposing side had violated all provisions of the memorandum of understanding and had formally entered into a state of conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He stated that, from Iran&#8217;s perspective, the memorandum was no longer in effect because of those alleged violations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, the Iranian Parliament approved a <strong>Strategic Action Plan for the Security and Sustainable Development of the Strait of Hormuz<\/strong>, a key maritime route for global energy supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The statements by Iranian officials come amid heightened tensions between Tehran and Washington following recent exchanges of threats and ongoing disputes over regional security and military activities.
