The closed-door meeting was also attended by Turkish Vice President <strong>Cevdet Y\u0131lmaz<\/strong>, Chief of the General Staff <strong>General Sel\u00e7uk Bayraktaro\u011flu<\/strong>, and Director of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) <strong>\u0130brahim Kal\u0131n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While official sources did not disclose detailed outcomes of the talks, diplomatic and defence circles indicated that discussions focused on expanding Pakistan-T\u00fcrkiye defence cooperation, strengthening collaboration in defence manufacturing, enhancing strategic partnership, and exchanging views on regional security challenges and recent developments in the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting comes at a time when defence ties between Pakistan and T\u00fcrkiye continue to deepen. The two countries have maintained close cooperation in several areas, including joint military exercises, defence production, drone technology, naval projects, and military training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A day earlier, Field Marshal Asim Munir met Turkish Chief of the General Staff <strong>General Sel\u00e7uk Bayraktaro\u011flu<\/strong>, during which he was awarded one of T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;s highest military honours.
