class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to a spokesperson for the <strong>Karachi Port Trust (KPT)<\/strong>, the mega container vessel measures <strong>398.5 meters in length<\/strong> and <strong>59 meters in width<\/strong>, making it one of the largest container ships currently operating in international shipping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The spokesperson said the arrival of MSC Erica reflects Karachi Port&#8217;s capability to accommodate ultra-large container vessels and handle high-volume cargo operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the vessel&#8217;s stay at the port, <strong>more than 3,000 containers<\/strong> are expected to be loaded and unloaded as part of scheduled cargo handling activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">KPT officials said the operation is expected to be completed efficiently before the vessel continues its voyage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After completing cargo operations at Karachi Port, <strong>MSC Erica<\/strong> will depart for <strong>China<\/strong>, according to the port authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The arrival of one of the world&#8217;s largest container ships is seen as a positive development for Pakistan&#8217;s maritime trade sector and highlights the operational capacity of Karachi Port to
