Commission<\/strong> has disqualified <strong>Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)<\/strong> leader <strong>Fida Muhammad Nashad<\/strong> in compliance with a ruling of the <strong>Supreme Appellate Court<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to <strong>Chief Election Commissioner Raja Shehbaz Khan<\/strong>, the decision was implemented after the court found that Nashad had concealed assets, rendering him no longer eligible under the constitutional standard of being <strong>&#8220;Sadiq and Ameen&#8221;<\/strong> (truthful and trustworthy).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Chief Election Commissioner said the disqualification was carried out in accordance with the judgment of the Supreme Appellate Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fida Muhammad Nashad had been elected from <strong>Constituency GBA-9 (Skardu-III)<\/strong> in the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following his disqualification, the seat has become vacant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Raja Shehbaz Khan announced that the <strong>official schedule for the by-election<\/strong> on the vacant constituency will be issued on <strong>Monday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Election Commission is expected to release details regarding the nomination process, polling date, and other electoral arrangements once the by-election schedule is formally notified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The disqualification follows the court&#8217;s findings regarding asset concealment, and the Election Commission said it is implementing the ruling in accordance with the applicable legal
