Iran has wanted to see me dead for many years,&#8221; Trump was quoted as saying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trump further warned that if anything happened to him as a result of an Iranian plot, the United States would respond with overwhelming military force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said that if Iran were to carry out an assassination or attempted assassination against him, it would face consequences unlike anything seen before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;If anything happens to me, Iran would face a level of bombing it has never seen before,&#8221; Trump said, according to the reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The U.S. president also stated that any attempt by Iran to act on what he described as threats against his life would result in serious repercussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, Trump remarked that if anything were to happen to him, he hoped people would remember him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His comments come amid continuing tensions between the United States and Iran, with relations remaining strained over a range of regional security and geopolitical issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the time of the reports, <strong>Iran had not publicly responded<\/strong> to Trump&#8217;s latest allegations.
