Rawalpindi:<\/strong> Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan<\/strong> has once again called on the authorities to allow family members to meet the party\u2019s founder, Imran Khan<\/strong>, saying prolonged restrictions on such meetings could deepen political tensions and resentment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking to reporters in Rawalpindi<\/strong>, Barrister Gohar said that 37 weeks<\/strong> had passed without any meetings between Imran Khan and his family or other visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf family meetings continue to be blocked, it will only increase hatred and tensions,\u201d he said, urging the relevant authorities to facilitate the meetings in accordance with legal and humanitarian considerations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the issue of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections<\/strong>, Barrister Gohar said the PTI political committee had thoroughly discussed whether to participate in the electoral process before reaching a decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stated that the party\u2019s decision to boycott the elections<\/strong> was made after assessing the prevailing political circumstances in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commenting on the party\u2019s position regarding developments in Azad Kashmir, Barrister Gohar reiterated that PTI does not support any anti-state narrative<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have made it clear that we do not endorse any narrative against the state. However, we do support the legitimate demands of the people,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responding to speculation about internal divisions within the party, Barrister Gohar dismissed reports suggesting the existence of a forward bloc<\/strong> within PTI, rejecting claims of any organized group seeking to break away from the party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Bushra Bibi<\/strong>, the wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, was visited by members of her family at Adiala Jail<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to sources, Bushra Bibi met with her sister-in-law, Mehr-un-Nisa Maneka<\/strong>, and her daughter, Mubashra Sheikh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting took place in the jail\u2019s conference room and lasted for approximately 40 minutes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sources said the discussion primarily focused on Bushra Bibi\u2019s health and well-being<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
