According to Sattar, the agreement was signed by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif acted as a guarantor and witness. He described the latest warning as the party’s “final warning” and urged the prime minister to ensure full implementation of the agreement.

Sattar also called for the creation of a separate administrative unit to place Karachi under the federal government’s administration. He further claimed that the PPP had informed MQM-P that it was not responsible for the removal of the Sindh governor and demanded that the federal government clarify its position on the matter.

PPP Rejects MQM-P’s Allegations

Responding to the press conference, Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon dismissed MQM-P’s statements as an attempt at political blackmail.

He advised MQM-P to question the federal government instead of criticizing the Sindh government for failing to fulfill commitments related to Karachi.

Sharjeel Memon said that using demands for federal intervention as political pressure amounted to blackmail. He argued that MQM-P has lost public confidence and is now looking for political shortcuts to regain relevance.

He further stated that proposals to place Sindh’s affairs under federal control amount to a conspiracy against Pakistan’s federal structure. According to him, the people of Sindh have given the Pakistan Peoples Party a clear democratic mandate, and that mandate cannot be changed through press conferences, threats, or political pressure.

The senior minister added that instead of blaming the Sindh government for its political setbacks, MQM-P should hold its own coalition partners in the federal government accountable for failing to honor their commitments.

The exchange reflects growing tensions between coalition partners at the federal level. If MQM-P follows through on its warning and moves to the opposition benches, it could have significant political implications for the stability of the ruling coalition and ongoing negotiations between the federal government and its allies.

Karachi: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) has warned that it may withdraw from the federal coalition government if its key demands, including the recovery..

[3

post-4965","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pakistan
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/437416_7476337_updates-1.jpg",700,400,false
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/437416_7476337_updates-1-150x150.jpg",150,150,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/437416_7476337_updates-1-300x171.jpg",300,171,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/437416_7476337_updates-1.jpg",700,400,false
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/437416_7476337_updates-1.jpg",700,400,false],"1536x1536":["https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/437416_7476337_updates-1.jpg",700,400,false],"2048x2048":["https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/437416_7476337_updates-1.jpg",700,400,false
admin
["GET
