In many cases, patients can experience internal bleeding into joints, muscles, or other parts of the body without any visible injury, which may lead to permanent disability or become life-threatening if not treated promptly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to specialists, there is currently no permanent cure for hemophilia. However, timely administration of clotting factor replacement therapy enables patients to live healthy and productive lives. Delayed treatment can result in irreversible damage to the knees, elbows, and other joints, leading to long-term mobility problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Mirpurkhas, the absence of adequate government facilities for hemophilia diagnosis, emergency care, and the regular supply of clotting factor medicines has left hundreds of patients from both urban and rural areas facing serious difficulties. Many are forced to travel to Karachi or other major cities for treatment, placing a heavy financial and emotional burden on low-income families. Delays in emergency treatment can also put patients&#8217; lives at risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Experts further noted that a lack of public awareness about hemophilia often results in delayed diagnosis, particularly among children. Parents are advised to seek immediate medical attention if a child experiences excessive bleeding after minor injuries, frequent unexplained bruising, or swelling in the joints, as early diagnosis can help prevent serious complications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hemophilia specialists, social organizations, and patients&#8217; families have urged the Government of Sindh, the Health Department, and other relevant authorities to establish a specialized hemophilia treatment center in Mirpurkhas.
