workbench, designed to help scientists streamline research, \u200canalyze data and manage complex computing workflows.<\/strong>The workbench offers scientists a user interface specifically designed for conducting research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The launch is part \u200bof Anthropic\u2019s life sciences and healthcare initiative, which \u200bthe IPO-bound company has been developing since October 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here \u2060are a few details on the launch:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Claude Science combines \u200bdatabases, coding tools, compute and research workflows in one \u200bworkspace, helping scientists analyze literature, run analyses, create figures and manuscripts, and trace results back to their source code and environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The tool \u200bis pre-configured with more than 60 scientific databases and \u200bcan render scientific artifacts such as 3D protein structures, genome browser \u200ctracks and chemistry drawings, Anthropic said.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Claude Science runs on Anthropic\u2019s existing Claude models, which have undergone the company\u2019s standard responsible scaling and biosecurity evaluations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Several research organizations and companies testing \u200bthe platform \u200bin beta reported \u2060significant efficiency gains, Anthropic added.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anthropic is also launching its own pre-clinical drug programs, focused on neglected diseases, the AI startup\u2019s head of \u2060life sciences, Eric Kauderer-Abrams, said during a press briefing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cThese are areas that are outside the scope of what the \u2060traditional pharma \u200band biotech landscape might consider
