However, he underlined that the government would <strong>rely on self-sufficiency rather than foreign aid or loans<\/strong>, signaling a firm goodbye to the traditional \u201cbegging bowl\u201d approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The minister further emphasized that the <strong>2025 floods are a stark reminder that climate change is not a distant threat but a present-day reality<\/strong>. He said the distribution of relief goods is not just about assistance but also a <strong>message of solidarity and hope<\/strong> for the affected people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Relief Commissioner\u2019s Statement<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Punjab\u2019s Relief Commissioner reported that the floods have impacted <strong>4,700 villages<\/strong> and claimed <strong>104 lives so far<\/strong>.
