{"id":4196,"date":"2026-06-28T11:41:29","date_gmt":"2026-06-28T11:41:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=4196"},"modified":"2026-06-28T11:54:22","modified_gmt":"2026-06-28T11:54:22","slug":"three-injured-as-earthquake-jolts-parts-of-balochistan-pdma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=4196","title":{"rendered":"Three injured as earthquake jolts parts of Balochistan: PDMA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QUETTA: At least three persons were injured in earthquake tremors in Balochistan, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) said on Saturday.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 5.1 magnitude earthquake tremors recorded by the National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC). \u201cThe epicentre of the quake was at the distance of 58 kilometers in the northeast of Barkhan,\u201d the NSMC said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tremors were felt on Saturday morning in Musakhel, Barkhan, Rakhni and Kohlu, PDMA said. \u201cThere are reports of damage to the houses caused by the tremors in different areas of Musakhel,\u201d according to the disaster management authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The losses also reported in Kangari, Rarasham and Kajhori areas. \u201cThe relief teams have been dispatched to quake-hit areas for rescue and relief operations,\u201d PDMA further said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kohlu and adjoining areas in Balochistan were jolted again and again three times on Friday, ARY News reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first tremors were felt at 10:25 am, the second at 10:58 am, and the third at 4:49 pm, according to reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quake tremors were also felt in other parts of Balochistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the meteorological department, the affected areas included Zhob, Barkhan, and Rakhni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Met Department further added that the epicenter of the earthquake was located at 60 km northeast of Kohlu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The intensity of the tremors was recorded at 5.1 on the Richter scale, while its depth was 17 km.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>QUETTA: At least three persons were injured in earthquake tremors in Balochistan, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) said on Saturday.
