The 66-year-old actor, who spent several years in prison following his conviction in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts case, revealed during an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show<\/em> that the task of shaving his beard in jail had once been assigned to a fellow inmate who was serving a life sentence for double murder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dutt explained that the event remains etched in his memory as one of the scariest moments of his incarceration. \u201cIn prison, you are made to follow a strict routine. At one point, my beard had grown too much, and it needed to be shaved. The authorities handed over the job to another prisoner named Mishra,\u201d he recounted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actor recalled that it was only when Mishra placed a razor against his neck that he casually asked him how long he had been in jail. \u201cHe replied, \u2018Fifteen years.\u2019 Out of curiosity, I asked him why. And that\u2019s when he said\u2014\u2018for double murder.\u2019 The moment those words hit me, my entire body shivered. I immediately grabbed his hand to stop him from moving the blade across my neck,\u201d Dutt said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
