Demonstrators carried placards and chanted slogans against the alleged killers as well as against what they described as police inaction and excesses.

Speaking to the media during the protest, community members including Shah Ali Sindrani, Asghar Sindrani, Habiba Sindrani, Nawab Khatoon, and Basran Khatoon Sindrani alleged that their community had suffered repeated acts of violence over the past year and that the authorities had failed to provide justice.

According to the protesters, the dispute began approximately one year ago when several individuals, identified by them as Wahid Bakhsh Brohi, Gulsher Brohi, Khan Jan Brohi, and Ejaz Brohi, allegedly attempted to snatch a motorcycle from two members of their community. They claimed that when resistance was offered, the suspects opened fire, resulting in the deaths of Ali Hassan Sindrani, Akbar Sindrani, Pyaro Sindrani, and Saddam Hussain Sindrani.

The protesters said a murder case was subsequently registered and legal proceedings were initiated. However, they alleged that efforts were later made to resolve the dispute through a tribal settlement involving local influential personalities.

According to their account, a reconciliation agreement was arranged under the supervision of Pakistan Peoples Party leader Imtiaz Sheikh and other respected figures from the area. They claimed that during the settlement proceedings, members of the Brohi community were found responsible for the killings and a financial penalty of Rs105 million (10.5 crore rupees) was imposed.

The protesters stated that as part of the settlement, an initial payment of Rs1.2 million (12 lakh rupees) was made on the spot by members of the Brohi community. However, they alleged that the situation deteriorated afterward when some members of their community were called under the pretext of discussing matters related to the murder case.

They claimed that Nizamuddin Sindrani, Noor Muhammad Sindrani, Adam Sindrani, and another individual were subsequently killed. According to the protesters, despite the registration of a case at the relevant police station, the accused have not yet been arrested.

The demonstrators expressed frustration over what they described as the slow pace of investigations and alleged that political influence was preventing law enforcement agencies from taking action against the suspects.

The protesters further alleged that members of the Brohi community enjoy political backing, which they claim has contributed to police reluctance in pursuing arrests. According to them, instead of acting against those accused in the killings, police officials have allegedly provided indirect support to the suspects.

The allegations did not stop there. Protesters claimed that police from Kot Sultan Police Station in Shikarpur recently conducted a raid in the area known as Wada Atala. They alleged that private individuals associated with the Brohi community accompanied the police during the operation and were dressed in police uniforms.

According to the demonstrators, the raid resulted in extensive damage to their village. They claimed that several houses were demolished and that valuable household belongings, including gold jewelry, food supplies, and other personal property, were taken away.

The protesters also alleged that around 80 livestock animals, including cows and buffaloes, were seized during the operation. Such losses, they said, have had a severe economic impact on families whose livelihoods depend largely on agriculture and livestock.

In one of the more serious allegations raised during the protest, community members claimed that drone operations were conducted over residential areas and that several children sustained injuries as a result. These claims could not be independently verified.

Women and children participating in the protest appealed directly to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Inspector General of Police Sindh Javed Alam Odho to intervene in the matter.

They demanded the immediate arrest of all individuals allegedly involved in the murders of the eight victims and called for exemplary punishment under the law. They also urged provincial authorities to order an impartial inquiry into the conduct of police officials accused of misconduct and abuse of authority.

The protesters maintained that justice would only be served when both the alleged killers and any officials found responsible for wrongdoing are held accountable through legal proceedings.

Concluding their demonstration, the protesters warned that if their demands were not addressed, they would expand their protest campaign and continue their struggle through peaceful demonstrations and public gatherings across the province.

As of the filing of this report, no official response from the Shikarpur police or provincial authorities regarding the allegations made during the protest had been reported. The matter is expected to draw further attention as affected families continue to press for justice and accountability.

SUKKUR: Residents of Village Allah Rakyo Sindrani in Shikarpur district staged a protest demonstration outside the Sukkur National Press Club, demanding the arrest of individuals..

[4

post-3213","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-leading
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/WhatsApp-Image-2026-06-13-at-3.50.18-PM-1.jpeg",1599,1599,false
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/WhatsApp-Image-2026-06-13-at-3.50.18-PM-1-150x150.jpeg",150,150,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/WhatsApp-Image-2026-06-13-at-3.50.18-PM-1-300x300.jpeg",300,300,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/WhatsApp-Image-2026-06-13-at-3.50.18-PM-1-768x768.jpeg",768,768,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/WhatsApp-Image-2026-06-13-at-3.50.18-PM-1-1024x1024.jpeg",1024,1024,true],"1536x1536":["https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/WhatsApp-Image-2026-06-13-at-3.50.18-PM-1-1536x1536.jpeg",1536,1536,true],"2048x2048":["https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/WhatsApp-Image-2026-06-13-at-3.50.18-PM-1.jpeg",1599,1599,false
admin
["GET
