One of the arrested female suspects was reportedly wanted in an attempted murder and assault case, while another accused was also wanted in a terrorism-related case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operations were conducted under the special directives of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Hyderabad Range Tariq Razaq Khan Dharejo and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hyderabad Shahzaib Chachar, who had instructed all police stations across the district to intensify actions against drug dealers, criminal gangs, and fugitives involved in serious offenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to police officials, the operation was led by Station House Officer (SHO) Site Police Inspector Tahir Mughal along with his team, who acted on credible intelligence about the presence and activities of suspected drug suppliers operating in different areas of the jurisdiction. Following the tip-off, targeted raids were carried out at multiple locations, resulting in the arrest of three individuals involved in the supply and distribution of narcotics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The arrested suspects have been identified as Ms. Zarina, Ms. Ayesha Shah, and Bacha Brohi. During the search operations, police recovered substantial quantities of narcotics from their possession. Ms. Zarina was found with 1 kilogram and 60 grams of hashish, while Ms. Ayesha Shah was carrying 1 kilogram and 90 grams. The third suspect, Bacha Brohi, was found with 1 kilogram and 80 grams of hashish, bringing the total recovered quantity to more than 3 kilograms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police sources confirmed that during further verification and record checks, it was revealed that Ms. Zarina was already wanted in Crime No. 63\/2026 under various sections of the Pakistan Penal Code, including Sections 353, 324, 224, 225, 147, and 149. These charges relate to serious offenses such as assault, obstruction of public servants, and rioting. Her arrest marks a major step in an ongoing investigation into violent incidents reported in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Similarly, suspect Bacha Brohi was found to be wanted in Crime No. 65\/2026 under Sections 353, 324, 224, 225, 147, 148, and 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code, along with Sections 6\/7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act. According to law enforcement officials, this indicates his alleged involvement in cases linked to organized violence and acts intended to create public fear and disturbance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police officials stated that the inclusion of Anti-Terrorism Act provisions highlights the seriousness of the charges against the suspect, and further investigations are underway to determine the extent of his network and possible links with other criminal elements operating in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Separate cases have now been registered at Site Police Station against all three suspects under Crime Numbers 74, 75, and 76\/2026, invoking Section 9(1)3(C) of the Control of Narcotic Substances (CNS) Act. The cases pertain to the possession, transportation, and alleged distribution of illegal narcotics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Authorities have confirmed that further interrogation is in progress and efforts are being made to trace other members of the drug supply chain possibly connected to the arrested individuals. Police teams are also examining whether the accused were part of a larger organized network involved in the distribution of narcotics across Hyderabad and surrounding regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking about the operation, police officials reiterated their commitment to eliminating drug trafficking and ensuring strict action against those involved in activities that threaten public safety and social stability. They emphasized that narcotics not only destroy individual lives but also contribute significantly to the rise in crime rates, particularly among youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DIG Hyderabad Range and SSP Hyderabad have appreciated the efforts of Site Police and directed them to continue intelligence-based operations across the district.
