Karachi:<\/strong> The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has warned that the activation of the El Ni\u00f1o climate phenomenon<\/strong> could result in below-normal rainfall across Pakistan during the current year. Meteorologists say that El Ni\u00f1o, which is re-emerging after several years, has the potential to influence weather patterns not only in Pakistan but around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the PMD, while certain regions of the country are expected to experience thunderstorms and rainfall in the coming days, the broader outlook suggests that the upcoming monsoon season may bring less rainfall than usual, particularly in Sindh and the Tharparkar region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
