BEIJING: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that continuous efforts are being made to slow down China\u2019s economic growth, but emphasized that China\u2019s rise as a global economic power can no longer be stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Addressing the second Pakistan-China Political Parties Forum in Beijing, Ishaq Dar praised China\u2019s extraordinary economic transformation and said Pakistan should learn from China\u2019s model of development and progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe world knows only 10 percent of China\u2019s economic development,\u201d he said. \u201cPeople do not fully realize how far China has advanced economically. I want to say openly that continuous attempts are being made to stop China\u2019s economic growth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The deputy prime minister expressed confidence that China would soon become the world\u2019s number one economic power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cChina\u2019s progress can no longer be stopped, and very soon China will emerge as the world\u2019s leading economic power,\u201d Ishaq Dar stated. \u201cPakistan needs to learn the secret of development from China.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He highlighted the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and China, describing it as unique in the world and based on mutual trust, cooperation, and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere is no example in the world like the friendship between Pakistan and China,\u201d he said, adding that all political parties and institutions in Pakistan share a unified stance regarding relations with Beijing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ishaq Dar also thanked China for its support to Pakistan during what he referred to as the \u201cBattle for Truth,\u201d emphasizing that Chinese cooperation has remained consistent during difficult times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The foreign minister noted that bilateral cooperation between the two countries has expanded into multiple sectors, including science, technology, and space exploration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWith China\u2019s cooperation, Pakistani astronauts will also travel to space,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further stated that Pakistan and China have consistently worked together on regional and international matters through close consultation and coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Ishaq Dar, the leadership of both countries remained in contact during the ongoing Middle East crisis and jointly discussed ways to promote regional peace and stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPakistan and China presented a five-point peace plan for the Middle East after detailed consultations,\u201d he said. \u201cThe world appreciated the Pakistan-China five-point peace initiative.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The deputy prime minister also addressed concerns regarding the Strait of Hormuz, a strategically vital global oil shipping route, saying that Pakistan and China remain in close communication regarding any possible closure or disruption in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPakistan and China are in complete coordination regarding the Strait of Hormuz, and a joint strategy has been prepared in this regard,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Analysts believe Ishaq Dar\u2019s remarks reflect Pakistan\u2019s continued support for China amid increasing global geopolitical competition and underline Islamabad\u2019s desire to strengthen strategic, economic, and diplomatic cooperation with Beijing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
