According to the Punjab Home Department, restrictions have been enforced around all airbases and airports in the province, including commercial airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the new orders, activities such as pigeon flying, use of laser lights, and throwing animal waste or meat remnants<\/strong> in surrounding areas have been banned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials stated that these activities pose serious threats to aviation safety and can interfere with flight operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The notification issued by the Home Department said the decision was taken to improve security measures and minimize risks to aircraft and passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities noted that pigeon flying near airports can attract birds into flight paths, increasing the risk of bird strikes, which can be dangerous for aircraft during takeoff and landing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
