PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said on Wednesday that the party\u2019s stance on the 28th Amendment was still not clear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking to reporters in Islamabad, he said that the PTI wanted that any legislation should be reflective of aspirations of the masses and not controversial. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said that the party wanted immediate lifting of the governor\u2019s rule and emergency in KP. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Barrister Gohar said that now when governor\u2019s rule had been imposed in the province, arrests and persecution of the party leaders and workers must stop. \u201cPTI has roots in the people of Pakistan,\u201d he said, adding that the party respected the state institutions and did not want any confrontation with them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He dispelled the impression that there was any inquiry underway against the former KP chief minister, Sohail Afridi. \u201cWe condemn his detention.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Responding to a question, PTI chairman said that the party did not have any option but to resort to long march for the acceptance of its demands. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
