QUETTA: Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that hostile forces attempting to sabotage Pakistan\u2019s development through proxies, terrorism, and negative propaganda will ultimately fail due to the resilience of the state and unity of the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir visited Quetta Garrison, where he was received by the Corps Commander Quetta upon arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the visit, the field marshal addressed officers under training and faculty members at the Command and Staff College Quetta. He praised the institution\u2019s high training standards, professional excellence, and capacity-building role in preparing military leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized the importance of adapting to evolving warfare trends, including emerging technologies, multi-domain operations, and enhanced coordination among the three armed services. He also highlighted the rapidly changing nature of modern warfare and the need for military preparedness in future operational environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He stated that graduates of the Staff College have consistently demonstrated exceptional professional commitment and operational performance. He urged officers to ensure continuous training for themselves and their troops in order to effectively respond to changing battlefield requirements while maintaining the highest standards of operational readiness and professional competence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During his visit, the Chief of Defence Forces also interacted with officers and soldiers deployed in Balochistan. He appreciated their high morale, operational preparedness, and dedication toward maintaining peace, stability, and the writ of the state in the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Field Marshal Asim Munir said the armed forces, with the unwavering support of the people, remain fully determined to eliminate all forms of terrorism from the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPakistan\u2019s progress and rise cannot be stopped through propaganda, fake news, or foreign-sponsored terrorism,\u201d he said, adding that enemy forces would ultimately fail because of the strength of state institutions and the unity of the Pakistani nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The field marshal further stated that sustainable development depends upon effective security measures, people-centric policies, and improved governance. He stressed that long-term peace and prosperity in Balochistan require public welfare-oriented strategies alongside strong administrative systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also appreciated the efforts of the Balochistan government aimed at improving socio-economic conditions and strengthening trust between the state and the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The remarks come at a time when Pakistan continues counterterrorism operations in different regions, particularly in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where security forces have been targeting militant networks involved in attacks against civilians and state institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
