It includes cooperation in military exercises and training, research and development and defence industries.

According to the Turkish ministry, the agreement also carries an economic component by seeking closer cooperation in military production and allowing the participating countries to draw on their respective defence manufacturing capabilities.

The ministry said collaboration under the framework could help strengthen defence industrial capacities while enabling the countries to meet the requirements of allied and friendly states.

Asif’s remarks place particular emphasis on industrial cooperation and reducing external dependence, with joint production and technology transfer identified among the areas Pakistan wants to explore under the agreement.

The Badr MoU comes amid a broader expansion of Pakistan’s defence partnerships in the region.

Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye signed the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement (MJDA) in August, establishing a collective defence mechanism under which an armed attack on one member is treated as an attack against all. The three countries have since taken steps towards implementing the pact, including closer military coordination and arrangements aimed at facilitating the rapid deployment of forces and capabilities when required.

Unlike the Makkah agreement’s collective defence provisions, the details released so far on the Badr MoU have focused primarily on defence-industrial cooperation, training, research and development and strengthening the military capabilities of the four participating countries.

PAK SOUCH MEDIA GROUP

Daily Pak Souch Newspaper Sukkur – Daily Pak Special Newspaper Karachi – Daily Pak Today Newspaper Karachi – Daily Pak Jazbo Newspaper Sukkur

Head Office : Ayub Gate Shaikh Muhalla Near Rabbania Masjid Sukkur

Karachi Office : Office No. 1901-B, 19th Floor Saima Trade Tower (B) Block I.I Chandigarh Road Near Jung Press, Shaheen Complex & National Museum of Pakistan Karachi Sindh Pakistan.

Contact : 03009319022

Website 1 : https://paksouch.com/
Website 2 : https://sindhi.paksouch.com/
Website 3 : https://pakjazbo.com/
Website 4 : https://urdu.pakjazbo.com/

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said Pakistan will seek greater self-reliance, joint production and technology transfer under the newly signed Badr Memorandum of Understanding with..

[3

post-18182","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pakistan
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-84-2.png",800,947,false
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-84-2-150x150.png",150,150,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-84-2-253x300.png",253,300,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-84-2-768x909.png",768,909,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-84-2.png",800,947,false],"1536x1536":["https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-84-2.png",800,947,false],"2048x2048":["https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-84-2.png",800,947,false
admin
["GET
