These incidents frequently affected families inside their homes, with women and children accounting for many of the casualties.

Punjab also witnessed deadly collapses linked to construction activity and excessive structural loading. The deaths of 14 children at a Lahore tuition centre in June and four children at a Dera Ghazi Khan school in May highlighted the risks of undertaking repair or extension work on buildings occupied by students.

Other incidents involved large gatherings, including weddings and the distribution of welfare payments. In Rahim Yar Khan, seven women died when a shop roof collapsed at a payment distribution point, while wedding-related collapses in Charsadda and Sheikhupura also resulted in deaths and injuries.

Taken together, the reported cases raise questions about the condition of older residential buildings, the structural assessment of properties undergoing modifications, building-code enforcement and the adequacy of safety inspections at educational and commercial premises.

PAK SOUCH MEDIA GROUP

Daily Pak Souch Newspaper Sukkur – Daily Pak Special Newspaper Karachi – Daily Pak Today Newspaper Karachi – Daily Pak Jazbo Newspaper Sukkur

Head Office : Ayub Gate Shaikh Muhalla Near Rabbania Masjid Sukkur

Karachi Office : Office No. 1901-B, 19th Floor Saima Trade Tower (B) Block I.I Chandigarh Road Near Jung Press, Shaheen Complex & National Museum of Pakistan Karachi Sindh Pakistan.

Contact : 03009319022

Website 1 : https://paksouch.com/
Website 2 : https://sindhi.paksouch.com/
Website 3 : https://pakjazbo.com/
Website 4 : https://urdu.pakjazbo.com/

The deadly collapse of a school building in Peshawar’s Dir Colony, which killed at least 34 people, including 32 children and two teachers, has once..

[3

post-17813","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pakistan
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-90-1.png",800,947,false
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-90-1-150x150.png",150,150,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-90-1-253x300.png",253,300,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-90-1-768x909.png",768,909,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-90-1.png",800,947,false],"1536x1536":["https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-90-1.png",800,947,false],"2048x2048":["https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-90-1.png",800,947,false
admin
["GET
