Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has said there is no option but to accept his party\u2019s demands, as political tensions grow over the possibility of emergency rule or governor\u2019s rule in the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement on X, Afridi said taking such steps without formally announcing an emergency or governor\u2019s rule amounted to rebellion. He challenged those considering the move to show courage and make an official announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the chief minister said his party would not withdraw from its constitutional and legal demands under any circumstances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that the long march would continue in line with the Constitution and the law until those demands were met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Afridi also said that, following a formal announcement of emergency rule or governor\u2019s rule, people would stop citing Turkey as an example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He insisted that Imran Khan\u2019s policies would prevail in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying: \u201cOnly Imran Khan\u2019s policy will run in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The rule will be Imran Khan\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
