The court on Friday issued notices to the Punjab Chief Secretary and other parties, seeking a response within ten days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Justice Farooq Haider heard the petition filed by citizen Abdullah Malik. Advocate Azhar Siddique appeared on behalf of the petitioner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Justice Farooq Haider remarked, “This matter was heard earlier by a larger bench and was referred to the Chief Secretary; inquiring did the Chief Secretary not heed the larger bench’s order?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Petitioner\u2019s lawyer Azhar Sidique replied that the Chief Secretary had done nothing as he took no action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After hearing the petitioner’s counsel, the court issued notices to the parties and adjourned the hearing for ten days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
