Three people, including the Deputy Commissioner, Lower Dir, Maqbool Hussain, were seriously injured when their vehicle met with an accident due to slippery conditions inside the Lowri Tunnel in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Soon after receiving the report, police and rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) in Dir Bala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Medical Superintendent of District Headquarters Hospital Dr. Khalid, said that the condition of injured Deputy Commissioner Chitral Maqbool Hussain is out of danger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier in April 2026, at least three people, including a child, were killed and 10 others injured when a passenger vehicle plunged into a deep ravine in the Lower Dir area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a Rescue 1122 spokesperson, the vehicle was travelling from the Maidan area to Nambatai when it went off the road after being struck by another vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The deceased included a child, a woman and a man, while the injured comprised men and women, the spokesperson added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
