The march is expected to move towards Islamabad after a period of political activity lasting several weeks.

The PTI political committee approved the October 4 march at a meeting where preparations for the protest and possible federal action against the provincial government were discussed.

The party has confirmed that the march will go ahead on October 4, although details of its final destination and route remain subject to further decisions.

Sources said senior PTI leaders had given CM Afridi the go-ahead to lead the march. The meeting also discussed the party’s response to any action taken by the federal government against the KP government.

According to the sources, the PTI decided that any federal move against the provincial government would be met through public mobilisation.

They said that if Governor’s Rule or an emergency were imposed, the party would organise a sit-in outside the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor House in Peshawar.

The party has also approved the formation of a legal team to challenge any federal action against the provincial government through the courts.

The debate over possible emergency measures or Governor’s Rule has intensified in recent days. Federal officials have publicly referred to such constitutional options, citing the security and political situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while PTI leaders have opposed such a move.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has said the October 4 march will remain a peaceful political activity and urged the federal government not to impose Governor’s Rule or an emergency in the province.

Meanwhile, the PTI has decided to launch a fundraising campaign to meet the expenses of the long march. Sources said Chief Minister Sohail Afridi had appealed to party workers as well as members of the public to contribute towards the mobilisation.

The chief minister has allocated the following day to the fundraising campaign. Sources said he would also be available at his office for major donors who wished to contribute directly.

The funds will be used to cover transport, accommodation and food for participants in the march, according to party sources.

Sources said the PTI had previously appealed for donations through an online campaign, but the response was considered insufficient. In view of the expected expenses and the funds collected so far, CM Afridi decided to personally lead a fresh fundraising effort.

The PTI had originally planned to begin its march earlier, but the political committee subsequently moved the date to October 4.

PAK SOUCH MEDIA GROUP

Daily Pak Souch Newspaper Sukkur – Daily Pak Special Newspaper Karachi – Daily Pak Today Newspaper Karachi – Daily Pak Jazbo Newspaper Sukkur

Head Office : Ayub Gate Shaikh Muhalla Near Rabbania Masjid Sukkur

Karachi Office : Office No. 1901-B, 19th Floor Saima Trade Tower (B) Block I.I Chandigarh Road Near Jung Press, Shaheen Complex & National Museum of Pakistan Karachi Sindh Pakistan.

Contact : 03009319022

Website 1 : https://paksouch.com/
Website 2 : https://sindhi.paksouch.com/
Website 3 : https://pakjazbo.com/
Website 4 : https://urdu.pakjazbo.com/

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has drawn up a new strategy for its October 4 long march to Islamabad amid discussion over the possibility of emergency..

[3

post-16922","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pakistan
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-16.png",800,947,false
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-16-150x150.png",150,150,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-16-253x300.png",253,300,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-16-768x909.png",768,909,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-16.png",800,947,false],"1536x1536":["https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-16.png",800,947,false],"2048x2048":["https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Pak-Souch-Social-Media-Poster-16.png",800,947,false
admin
["GET
