Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director General Dr Usman has been summoned to Lahore High Court in contempt of court case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Court ordered FIA DG Dr Usman Anwar to appear in person tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Court expressed displeasure over FIA submitting a ‘CamScanner’ copy of the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lahore High Court Chief Justice Aalia Neelum heard the petition filed by citizen Muhammad Ismail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Petitioner filed the contempt plea over non-compliance with the court’s order regarding the inquiry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
FIA representatives, including Deputy Director Mehak Abbas and Deputy Director (Legal) Hafiz Azeem, appeared in court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deputy Attorney General presented the report on behalf of the FIA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deputy Attorney General stated that the court order dated September 13, 2024, has been complied with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The court expressed dissatisfaction regarding the report submitted by the FIA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Will FIA now submit CamScanner copies?” asked Chief Justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chief Justice inquired that who is the FIA \u200b\u200bDG?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deputy Director replied that the Director General of FIA is Dr Usman Anwar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Tell him to appear in person tomorrow,” Chief Justice directed the Deputy Director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Court summoned FIA DG and adjourned the hearing until tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
