Similarly, large screens have been installed in courtroom no 1 for online hearings.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Apart from that, the chief justice\u2019s courtroom has been given the status of an e-court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commenting on the development, Prosecutor General Islamabad Manzoor Ahmad Jajja has said that the latest technology would help expedite the hearing of cases and ensure their transparency. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, lawyers have said that the introduction of technology is a first step towards bringing the provision of justice in harmony with the modern-day requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
