{"id":15853,"date":"2026-09-15T12:16:27","date_gmt":"2026-09-15T12:16:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=15853"},"modified":"2026-09-15T12:16:28","modified_gmt":"2026-09-15T12:16:28","slug":"militant-commander-among-three-terrorists-killed-in-mastung-security-sources","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=15853","title":{"rendered":"Militant commander among three terrorists killed in Mastung: security sources"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Militant commander Naqeeb among those killed: security sources.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Security forces continue operations against militants: sources.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Operations to continue until last militant eliminated : sources.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Security forces have killed at least three Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists, including a commander, in Balochistan, security sources said on Monday, as operations continue against militancy across the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the security sources, the latest operation was conducted in Mastung district, with security forces targeting terrorists&#8217; vehicle using a quadcopter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three terrorists, including commander Naqeeb, were killed and their vehicle was completely destroyed in the operation, security sources said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Operations against the terrorists would continue until the last militant was eliminated, they added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operation comes days after security forces eliminated at least 11 India-sponsored militants in separate intelligence-based operations in Kharan and Washuk districts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operations were conducted on September 6 and 7 following reports of the presence of terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy, Fitna al-Hindustan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pakistan witnessed a surge in terror activities, particularly in its Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces, since 2021, when the Afghan Taliban came into power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to a report by the Centre for Research and Security Studies (CRSS), the two provinces remained the country&#8217;s main hotspots for violence during the second quarter of 2026, with KP emerging as the worst-affected region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report stated that KP and Balochistan together accounted for nearly 96% of all violence-related fatalities recorded during the quarter. Of the total deaths, more than 61% (475) were reported in KP, while Balochistan accounted for 34% (265).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">KP also recorded the highest number of violent incidents, with 151 cases, representing 57% of the nationwide total.
