KARACHI. An important organizational meeting of Pakistan Muslim League Functional UC-8 PS-101, District East, was held with the participation of party office-bearers, workers and representatives of Pak Media Group. The meeting discussed various issues concerning the area, including public grievances, lack of basic civic facilities, the condition of local infrastructure and the need to effectively highlight the problems faced by residents before the relevant authorities. The meeting was attended by Pakistan Muslim League Functional UC-8 PS-101 President Samar Abbas, PS-101 Senior Vice President Ghulam Mustafa Patafi, PS-101 Joint Secretary Ashiq Ali, and representatives of Pak Media Group including Zulfiqar Solangi, Harish Kumar and Faqeer Bahadur Lund. All other office-bearers of UC-8 were also present. During the meeting, the participants reviewed the overall situation in UC-8 and PS-101 and discussed the difficulties being faced by local residents. Particular attention was given to the lack of basic civic facilities, the condition of roads and infrastructure, sanitation, drainage and other issues affecting daily life in the area. The participants stressed the need for these long-standing public issues to be raised before the relevant government departments and administrative authorities. They said that identifying public problems was not enough and that practical efforts were also required to ensure their resolution. The meeting also discussed the important role of the media in highlighting public grievances. During the interaction with representatives of Pak Media Group, the participants emphasized that the media can play an effective role in bringing the problems of local residents to the attention of the administration and senior government officials. The participants said that stronger coordination between political representatives, local residents and the media was necessary to ensure that genuine public concerns were properly highlighted. They expressed their appreciation for the cooperation of Pak Media Group and emphasized the importance of maintaining effective communication to ensure that public issues receive appropriate attention. Speaking on organizational matters, the party office-bearers said that Pakistan Muslim League Functional would continue efforts to strengthen its organizational structure at the UC and PS levels. They said that regular contact with local residents and party workers would be maintained and that organizational activities would be made more effective at the grassroots level. President Pakistan Muslim League Functional UC-8 PS-101 Samar Abbas said that maintaining direct contact with the public was one of the party’s key priorities. He said political workers had a responsibility to listen to the problems of residents and raise their concerns at every relevant forum. He added that party workers would continue to remain in contact with the people and play their role in highlighting issues affecting the area. Senior Vice President PS-101 Ghulam Mustafa Patafi said that collective efforts were required for the development of the area and the provision of basic civic facilities to residents. He said that continuous communication with the relevant departments would be maintained and public grievances would be raised on a priority basis. PS-101 Joint Secretary Ashiq Ali also spoke about organizational activities and public outreach. He emphasized the need for party workers to strengthen their contact with residents so that local problems could be identified in a timely manner and brought before the relevant authorities for appropriate action. Representatives of Pak Media Group, Zulfiqar Solangi, Harish Kumar and Faqeer Bahadur Lund, also expressed their views during the meeting. They said that highlighting public issues was an important responsibility of the media and assured that efforts would continue to bring genuine problems faced by residents to the attention of the concerned authorities. The participants agreed that public issues in UC-8 and PS-101 would be highlighted on a priority basis and that efforts would be made to establish effective communication with the relevant departments for their resolution. It was also agreed that organizational activities would be further strengthened and coordination among party workers would be improved. The participants further emphasized that effective coordination among the public, political workers, media representatives and administrative authorities was essential for the development of the area. They said that collective and responsible efforts could help address long-standing public grievances and contribute to improving civic conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
