KARACHI:<\/strong> Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Thursday, with the price of one tola of gold rising by Rs400 to reach Rs457,136, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest increase reflects a modest rise in both domestic and international gold prices. Following the Rs400 increase, the price of 24-karat gold per tola in the local market reached Rs457,136.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The association also reported an increase in the price of 10 grams of gold. The price of 10 grams rose by Rs343 to reach Rs391,920.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The movement in local gold prices came alongside an increase in international bullion prices. According to the association, gold in the international market rose by $4 per ounce, reaching $4,346 per ounce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gold prices in Pakistan are influenced by developments in international bullion markets, fluctuations in the exchange rate and domestic demand.
