Washington: Former U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed dissatisfaction with new ceasefire proposals from Iran that were reportedly conveyed through Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking to the media, Trump said that communication with Iran is ongoing through phone discussions, adding that while Iran appears interested in reaching a deal, progress remains stalled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIran wants a deal, but things are not moving forward. They are demanding things that we do not agree with,\u201d Trump stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also reiterated his concern over Iran\u2019s nuclear ambitions, saying he does not want Iran to possess nuclear weapons under any circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trump described Iran\u2019s current leadership as \u201cconfused,\u201d claiming there is a lack of unity within its ranks. \u201cDifferent people are saying different things. They themselves don\u2019t seem to know who is in charge,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, Trump did not disclose specific details about the Iranian proposals that he found unacceptable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
